Yaya Urassaya
Yaya Urassaya , whose real name is Urassaya Sperbund , is a Thai model and actress. She celebrates her birthday on March 18, 1993. She was born in Pattaya, Chonburi .Yaya is the youngest daughter of her family. Her mother’s name is Urai sperbund and her father’s name is Ceegood Sperbund. She has an older sister and two older brothers. She is half Thai and half Norwegian. Her religion is Buddhism because she was born and raised in Thailand. Her hobbies are swimming, watching movie, reading books and riding a horse. Her favorite dessert is chocolate. Her idol’s name is Ann Thongprasom.
Yaya could only speak 30 % of Thai language because she studied at an international school from the beginning. Most of her classmates are American in elementary and secondary levels at Regent International School in Bangkok. In senior high school, she went to Bangkok Pattaya School. At the moment, she is studying undergraduate at Chulalongkorn University in Faculty of Arts (International Program). She started in the entertainment industry at the age of 14. Her first advertising work is Ginie Yong Care and White Mind Rollon in 2007. Then she filmed her first TV series, Baan Kan Ma Yom which was directed by Max Records Pattanavichaiporn and produced by Maker’s Group Limited but it no scheduled show on the TV. She has one series in 2008 that included Peun See Long Hon in channel3. After signing the contract with channel3, she had to learn more Thai. She had a special teacher to tutor at home. In 2009, Urassaya joined the search for New Model and Mannequin from the ZEN Model Search by Kun Tue. Then she entered the modeling industry and became a model for the fashion show on the big stage such as ELLE Fashion Week and Bangkok International Fashion Week.
Yaya has filmed many series. Her most famous series is Game Rai Game Rak. She played the character of Nang Fah or Fahlada with Nadech Kugimiya. Her second series is Torranee Ni Nee Krai Krong. She played the character of Nong Nee or Darunee with Nadech Kugimiya. Besides this, she also got many awards such as Mekkhala Television Awards by Popular Lending Actress with Nadech Kugimiya , Star’s Choice Award by Charmming Girl Awards and many more . She also appeared in a music video of my bad Habit by Chin Chinnawut , more fashion magazine shot such as Di Chan Magazine and Popteen Magazine , more shows on concert with the famous singer that is Bird Thongchai Maginthai and moore advertisement such as Lay,Honda ,ponds and more. She recorded one song, R-Karn Ruk that is the theme song of Torranee Ni Nee Krai Krong. At the moment, her thai has improved from 30% to 80% but she still can’t understand some words. In the future, she will film many series such as Maya Tawan , Roy Fun Tawan Deard and Dao Roung in channel3.
